    I went to the corporate store at 10750 Lee Hwy., Fairfax, VA 22030 on Sunday 9 May 2021 to have two recently purchased smart watches activated and synced to the appropriate phones. I was helped immediately by a soft spoken man who was wearing his mask as appropriate. The only other employee was chatting with a group of folks at the station behind where I was being helped. There were a handful of individuals and an infant. The infant was crying and they brought out balloons, etc for a little celebration during business hours. I was having difficulty hearing the man who was supposed to be helping me; but I provided the important information relating to the difficulty activating. I questioned him when he mentioned things with regard to my purchase (I believe in an attempt to help); but his manner was extremely condescending and very frustrating. He asked me if I got a "card" with my watch? I asked him to repeat himself and he stated, "it's a simple question... Did you get a card with your watch" while actually drawing a rectangular card in the air. I was livid. I told him he did not need to be arrogant and condescending and it went downhill from there.

    The other rep in the store came to the station and was going to help; but the first rep couldn't let it go. I told him he wasn't making matters any better and he needed to improve his customer service skills. I was admittedly loud, but I did not swear or behave in an aggressive manner. The other rep then told me she wasn't going to help me and I needed to leave the store and never come back. Afterwhich, the male rep went on to say to the other group in the store that I had asked "the baby to be quiet". In all fairness, I did mumble under my breath early on in the visit, "I wish the baby would stop crying" (I could not hear); but the comment was certainly not for public consumption. I was just flabbergasted and humiliated. I am still quite shaken by the experience. If asked to hazard a guess with regard to the arrogant and condescending behavior of the rep, I believe it was age discrimination ( I am in my llate 50's w/grey/white hair). I believe the male rep believed I could not possibly know what I was talking about and treated me as such.

    As a long time AT&T customer (1998), I sincerely hope you make customer service training part of your employee's curriculum. I resorted back to the phone support rather than even visiting another store. It took multiple tech support personnel via the phone; but the issues will hopefully be resolved soon with the receipt of an eSim. As it turns out an eSim was never attached to my one new smart watch; hence the issue (no ICCID). This lack of an ICCID was explained multiple times to various tech reps - finally one "heard" me. Regardless, time is money and not only is my time valuable, but I would hope the services I pay for from AT&T would be welcome. I still have two devices with mobile numbers I am paying for that will not work correctly.

    Worst customer service . The sales person doesn’t know how to talk to a customer . Rude person I have ever seen . Was on his phone the whole time not helping out .

    Have been up and down the east coast trying to get my daughter’s phone transferred to FirstNet. This is the only store out of the 5 stores I have been to that could help us get past the de-unification process. The manager Manoj and store associate Machion were very knowledgeable and patient. It was a wonderful experience. I was ready to cancel my service after 24 years but this store’s service and kindness has changed my mind.
