Did the trick!
So far it’s been great, my office is furthest from the router so I would always get kicked off my VPN, this solved the issue.

Sadly Disappointed
I did a lot of research on my internet speed and what type of wifi extender I needed for my house and which one would work best with my modum.
I decided to go with the Orbi because I thought it would work the best with the AT&T internet service since it was being sold directly on the AT&T site.
Unfortuntately, three people who are all tech savvy could not make it connect correctly and it could never hook up with its satellite.
I had to return it after trying for two weeks to get it to wVe más

Fantastic Coverage and Reliability
So I got this mesh system to replace my router and repeater that were driving me nuts with reliability issues. This system works great! I'm getting 5g connections reliably whereas in the past, I only got that connection close to my router or repeater. I'd say the range of these is great! Also, of note, I don't see that the speed decreases when the signal is being received by the satellite unit. I get 120mbps five feet from the main unit, and I get that much connected to the satellite 20 feet away. Really remarkable! Oh, and this: it works great with a tv streaming video in one part of the house while several other items are also attached with no reliability issues. This is my favorite and best wifi system I've ever owned and I am literally in awe that I don't have to mess with wifi anymore - it's done! I just want to stare at the little white cubes and admire them.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy setup and fast speeds!
With my old router we would only get up to 50mbps and the signal would constantly cut off, but now with this mesh system we get about 170 mbps speed!
The setup was very easy, covers our entire home and we can finally enjoy the speeds we are paying for.

Slow

Very slow and frequently drops connection. The app essentially doesn't work at all as it just says "failed to do x". It's been very frustrating.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I had to return it after trying for two weeks to get it to work. My son-in-law found a much cheaper version and was able to connect it in just a few minutes.
I am sadly disappointed in the product I was sent since I trusted that if AT&T was selling it, it would be compatible and easy to use.
I am grateful for being able to return it to AT&T and I am hoping to get my refund soon.

A: Hi @HeyitsBob,
The primary goal of extenders is to improve Wi-Fi signal over distance, it does not increase your plan speed.
If you have more questions or want more information, post your question in the AT&T Community Forums: https://forums.att.com/.

Q: Will this work with my current DSL line?

1 Answer
A: Hi @Cbcsjc1,
If you are trying to improve Wi-Fi, you can use it. Please note, this does not speed up your service. If you have 6Mbps, for example, this will just expand coverage, not raise speeds above your plan.

Q: I'm trying to use my AT&T internet on my patio. Will this make the signal stronger out there?
1 Answer
A: Hi @RP1979,
It depends on why your signal is weak. If it is weak because the modem is far, yes, this can improve it if you place the extender in a neutral location.
If it is because there is an environmental issue causing slow speeds, it may not.

Q: Can I purchase this wifi extender inside AT&T stores?

1 Answer
A: If the stores have them in stock @Lorena1.
If a store near you has them, it will appear on the product page and uses your internet IP to locate a store near you.

Q: Will this work with hotspot on iPhone?
1 Answer
A: Hello Kate0421,
The iPhone hotspot may work with your Orbi, but the it works best with your Internet service provider and is recommended for homes with download speeds up to 50Mbps. Using your phone's hotspot depends on coverage and the plan you have.

A: It will @Bogdn.
You'll want to place the extender in a neutral location where it can still get a strong signal. These instructions should help: https://forums.att.com/conversations/att-internet-equipment/how-to-connect-orbi-wifi-to-an-att-modem/5f2ace04917fbb7b950106e6.

A: Morning @CWC123,
It will. While these instructions are written for a regular modem, they should be similar for hotspots: https://forums.att.com/conversations/att-internet-equipment/how-to-connect-orbi-wifi-to-an-att-modem/5f2ace04917fbb7b950106e6.

Q: Will this work with AT&T Fiber 300? Will a monthly fee be added to my bill? Does it need to be wired to work or can it extend my wifi wirelessly?
1 Answer
A: Morning @Kevin1994,
It will work with AT&T Fiber. It is a one-time charge for the Orbi and it can work wirelessly or wired to extend Wi-Fi.
In regards to placement, place the Orbi where signal is still strong in-between your modem and area you want to improve.
