A: Hi @honeycomb123,
You're looking for an RJ11 cable. We are currently out of stock but you may be able to find some online.
There is a chance, we will get some soon: https://www.att.com/buy/accessories/internet-equipment/motorola-data-cable-14ft-category-5-w-rj-11-connectors-black.html?q=rj%2011.

A: Hi ArturoH,
From my research, it sounds like it only connects over Wi-Fi, so I'm not sure what the cable is. You will want to reach out to the smart scale company to get more information about that cable.

Q: Hey! My puppy chewed up my Ethernet cable (green cord) and I went to look through all the stores and never found it. is this the right cord?

A: Hi Nadia1903,
It depends on the cable you're looking for, but color does not matter. Manufacturers make the cables in all colors and there is no standard. The color you want to pay attention to is the color of the port on the back of your gateway. If it's a green port, you will want an RJ 11 data cable. If it's a yellow or red port, you wan an RJ 45 cable. Most electronic stores will carry them.

Q: I have an ATT U-Verse Gateway, Model 5268AC FXN, with four ethernet ports in the back. Will connecting my laptop with a recommended ethernet cable to the Gateway, in any one of the ports, increase the internet speed of my laptop?

A: Hi Jac70,
It will at least give it the optimal internet speed, since a hardwired connection is better than a WiFi connection. It's also more stable, so I would definitely suggest connecting hard wired when possible.

A: Hi JenRen50,
It depends on what type of AT&T internet service you have. Reach out to us in chat and we can help with that. Also, if you take your cable to a local electronics store, they should be able to match it with the right cable.

Yes, the blue one would be an RJ45 cable, and the yellow one will work.

Q: I am looking to connect my laptop to my router using an Ethernet cable. Is this the correct cable for the connection? I plan to work from home using my laptop.

A: Yes, this cable will work if the 6' length is adequate for your needs. If not, RJ45 (i.e. ethernet) cables are widely available. Look for at least Cat5--Cat5E and Cat6 cables will also work, and provide extra bandwidth and speed. These cables come in many different lengths--look for high-quality insulation, a filter if possible (to filter out other nearby signal noise like microwaves, etc), and the length you need but not much more--the longer the cable the more the signal can be degraded, although these cables are pretty good.
