Great service
I have been very impressed not only by the product but the crew at the Bangor store! I was unsure when they told me I would have a hard time getting service in some areas, I was thrilled to find out I had great reception in those places!!

Quality has definitely gone down
Agree with many of the recent reviews - my old Velocity was SO much better. This doesn't hold a charge at all and it's only about 3 months old. It's also hard to "wake up" unless I use my trouble shoot app on my computer.

It does the job, some times, for the most part.
The screen cracked on it about 15 minutes after I peeled off the protective film. I put it in my bag, and the force from the laptop case was too much for it I guess. It only gets about 1/2 as many bars at any given time as my cell phone right next to it gets, but the speed is acceptable. 30Mbps/down and around 10Mbps/Up. It gets the job done, but just barely for what I need it for. I work remotely, and using this I can use it about 4-5 days per month based on the speeds (limited work efficiency) and the lack of an unlimited data plan.
No, I do not recommend this product.

NOT WORKING!
I got my device quick in the mail HOWEVER it came inactivated. I called and chatted for a good hour when my device was supposedly activated. Was told I’d have to wait for about 20minutes before it’ll start working. Well it’s been 4 days since my chat and it’s STILL NOT WORKING. if only it came activated I’d be able to rate my product properly. But for now it’s 1star.
What do you enjoy most about your wireless plan?Extras (HBO, Streaming, Hotspot, etc.)
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I am looking for a hot spot device to take with me to my cabin in the middle of no where to watch my videos for school on my iPad. It would be about 50 hours of live streaming video all together. Will this device fit my need?
5 years ago1 Answer
- A: Morning @ellii, First, I'd recommend checking the LTE Map to make sure you have a signal: https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html. If you have been there before and your wireless device had low bars, keep in mind, the same LTE signal is used for the hotspot. Second, the size of the videos/ stream is a factor you should consider giving the plans: https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1048698. ChrisZ, AT&T Community Specialist5 years agoHelpful?
