I brought this phone 2 years ago and it is excellent no regrets. I love the BlackBerry Hub and flow. Much better than any other android could do. No lag at all not 1! Congratulations BlackBerry good start! Battery life is a bit dicey.

a workers tool - not a toy!

I bought mine over a year ago - I tried them all - came back to Black Berry bought the Z10 - have not looked for the keyboard since - function of the type mode is amazing - and it is still the fastest and most reliable device for working and especially working off shore. if I lost it tomorrow - I would go and get another one.

Love This Phone
I've been an android and iphone user in the past with no big complaints, however, I wanted to try something new after my HTC One sim card kept going bad. Was reluctant to get the Z10 only because I heard it's quite a bit different than what I'm use to.. however... I'm so glad I did. I'm not a gamer and I only rely on a select few apps (which I was able to side load onto the Z10) so it wasn't a stretch to go for it. The phone is very well made from high quality materials. The latest software is solid, reliable, and fast with no latency. Calls, texting, browsing, gps... all solid, no complaints. Speaker is nice and loud if needed. It feels more like an "adult" smartphone. I've read some people complaining about battery life, but so far, it's been just as good, if not better than my old HTC. I love the HUB functionality. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about it. All in all, a very solid phone. I'm glad I made the switch. I might just be a new BB convert.

Under rated beast

Got this phone the first week it came out. Still going solid.
Great OS. Fast browser for its specs. No junk. BB Hub is the best. All my messages and email in one quick swipe of thumb. Can peak messages while doing other things. Can minimize apps and go back to it fast. Once you learn the gestures you are hook. Better than pushing buttons. Looking forward for new updates and versions.

Q: Is this a simple to use phone? If not, what is the simplest, easiest phone? My husband (age 65) has an old 10 key phone. He doesn't text or email or go online (doesn't know how to type). He uses NO apps. He talks, listens to voice mails and leaves voice mails. He is a non techie person to the extreme. Still using an old Dell XP (10+ yrs. old) and is not happy that he has to upgrade from XP pretty soon.. I have an iPhone 4. I'll be moving to an LG Optimus G Pro. Both of us are due for upgrades.

- A: Not simple at all is the most reasonable answer. But for phone use it is fine. But a large price too pay for just a phone, and it does lock up quite often. Personally I would stay away from the Z-10.12 years agoHelpful?
