This phone crashes a lot!
When it's working the phone is pretty nice. I enjoy the screen that is larger than my old iPhone but not so big it's inconvenient. I have a go-phone plan so that I'm not stuck in any contract, so the price of this phone was attractive since I was buying it outright.
HOWEVER, the phone crashes at least once a day! :P in the middle of whatever it's doing, it just crashes and makes a soft flatline hum for about 30 secs and then it shuts off and turns itself back on and then asks if you'd like to sVe más

bad battery life and hardly any storage

i had this phone for over a year and just recently had it stolen, about 2 weeks ago (over a year without using a case) it finally started to get cracks on the screen from my frequent dropping habits. the battery life would drop from 100 to 70 in 40 minutes. Sometimes it would glitch and the screen would do weird things or it would restart itself out of now where.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Wil not hold charge

Have gone through HTC charging cords. Charger does not stay in phone. Have to reset continually. Huge waste of money. Very unhappy with phone. Totally undependable.

There is really nothing that stands out about this phone. It is slow and the camera it terrible. The lighting needs to be just right to get a good picture. I have had this phone for a year and I really don't like it much. You get what you pay for I guess.

Q: I'm seeing a lot of reviews that appeal to first time smartphone users, but I'm a 20 something college kid that will not have a problem. I just want to know if this affordable phone will be able to handle apps, music, battery and is it sturdy?

- A: Hello janeaudrey- I have researched this for you and looks like I might have found the same reviews. The HTC Desire 626 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset and 1.1 GHZ quad-core. This will certainly be powerful enough to run any app, music etc. The internal memory is 16GB with 5GB of usable storage and that can be expanded up to 200GB via an SD card (sold separately).
