This phone was terrible, never again.

I have had this phone two years unfortunately, after the first 8 months att had to replace it because the phone touch screen would not cooperate, when texting it would type it's own letters repetedly until I locked the phone, when I turned it back on it would continue. Now, two years and two phones later the only way I can navigate this phone is with the slide out keyboard. Touching the screen sends the phone into a spazzy clicking frenzy that deletes my widgets and texts 10 pages of the letter x.
Consbattery life, volume level, limited memory, operating system, software bugs, freezes
No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't buy one!

I had the Back Flip and they discontinued it...I had relatively few problems with it. This one is just not as good...too many issues! The most annoying thing is that the back won't close tight. I'm sure some foreign matter will get in there and destroy it just after the one year warranty date...

Get it with Android 2.2 and you'll love it

I purchased a FLIPSIDE in January 2011 and I hated it - horrible battery life, frequent freezes and connection issues were everyday problems. Then, the upgrade to Android 2.2 fried the phone completely. AT&T sent me a replacement with 2.2 preloaded. Now I love this phone! It's super-fast and the battery life is great. I can use the phone heavily all day, playing games and whatnot, and still not need to worry about the battery (which would have died in less than 4 hours previously). Seems like all the problems were somehow related to Android 2.1. Now all I need to do is get rid of the junk AT&T software that monopolizes the memory, and this phone will be almost perfect! (The only con: The camera is lousy and there's no zoom or up-close focus so you can't read QR codes or UPC codes with it.)

Awesom Phone-Come Flip to the Flipside

I have just gotten this phone as of Sept 1st of this year, and actually is 4 of them. For myself and my kids.
We have fliped to the Flipside you could say.
The only issue /Con is that I reccomend getting new vs. refurbished...because you cant guarntee what others have done to the phone before you got it. And get a screen cover or the stylist stick as well. Prevents you from selecting one thing and getting another. And can end up freezing on you.
Other that than , a Pro would be that its a pretty easy phone to have and used. For me, having a phone that has both touch screen and regular key is cool. I am from old school, and not a teen-so I was worried about the touch screen and if it would be easy to use.
I am proud to say that I mastered it and it was not that difficult to use...
Prostools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
