Love this phone!

Got this phone 2 yrs ago. I wanted something that was easy to use with smartphone features, but a real keyboard. This phone has both touch and a keyboard. I never use the touch keyboard. The buttons on the other keyboard have held up fantastic, and this is by far the best phone I've ever had. I'm eligible for an upgrade, and reluctant to switch to a newer one because none of them have this feature. I also love the way it opens up - I often keep it open while sitting at my desk working. It's like a mini laptop. The only downside to this phone - the screen needs to be bigger like the newer smartphones. If Samsung upgrades this model keeping the style of the flip and the keyboard but makes the screen bigger like the Galaxy, they will have a true winner and set themselves apart from the competition. Hire me as a member of your design team and I'll show you what to do! :D
Additionally, the camera on this phone is great. I've taken some incredible shots and people think I've used a professional grade camera.
Any problems I've had have always been server oriented, not the phone.

This device is a good choice for a first time smartphone or for a young child. I actually won this device from Samsung. I love the QWERTY keyboard, color is rich, touch screen is great! Camera and video as well. I don't have service for this device so I use wifi and I did have a texting app. which I had to delete due to the memory issue.105 mb internal is not enough.I have only stock on my device as I have deleted everything and did a master reset and still getting memory full.Sorry Samsung,bombed on this one.

There aren't many phones that have a qwerty keyboard out there. This does and it's good

I have had this phone about 2 weeks and am already returning it! Even the loudest ringtone for text messages is barely audible, the microphone performs poorly and people are constantly telling me that they can barely hear me even when I am talking loud. There is no in call lock feature so you are always pressing buttons if you hold the phone close to your face. Have problems opening the gallery and viewing photos, all photos are there but will not load and will have a little wait symbol in every window.

- A: I am pretty sure you do...since they are Android phones then you have to have data...but I don't recommend this phone at all...my mom has it and it has been nothing but a problem...and I have seen quite a bit of bad reviews...(= I hope I helped!13 years agoHelpful?

- A: Make a folder in the My Files section that is titled Notifications and move whatever ringtone you want into that folder. After you do this, then go into messaging and click the Menu button and I think you go into Setting and then Notifications and the choice should be located in those tones.13 years agoHelpful?

Q: How long is the battery life? Currently have a android with a horrid battery life of about 4-5 hours even less if used for more than five minutes during the day. Just wondering exactly how poor the battery life is on this phone?

- A: It does have a fairly poor battery life. It helps TREMENDOUSLY to turn your screen brightness down low. I know it will take some getting used to especially if you text or surf a lot, but it adds 2-3 hours onto my Double Time.14 years agoHelpful?
