Q: I got an iPad mini less than 2 weeks ago and I am a Plenti card member. I never got any points from my purchase or from upgrading my cell phone. Is there any way to redeem the points that are owed to me?
9 years agoOriginally posted on Apple iPad mini 2 32GB - Space Gray
1 Answer
- A: Hey Rob311, Good morning! Excellent question and congratulations on the new devices! Plenti points may be held in a pending status for up to 45 days. During this time, you'll see them in your point’s activity as "pending." You will be able to use these points when their status has been changed to "added" in your account. You can go to this link to see the offer details for purchasing devices and accessories at participating AT&T locations. (https://www.att.com/olam/unauth/showAboutPlenti.myworld?source=EC1N0000000wrt00E&wtExtndSource=plentiinfo#atgPlentiLeft2) I hope this helps, have a great day! Q: I want to give the free ipad mini i recieved with my new iphone as a gift to a friend, how do i ensure that my cellular data wont be used by the ipad mini

- A: Greetings Nenamarie, I apologize, but I’m not seeing an offer for a free Apple iPad with the purchase of a new Apple iPhone. What I was able to find is the promotion to get an Apple iPad mini 2 32GB for $49.99 with a 2 year contract, when an Apple iPhone is purchased on the AT&T Next installment plan. That 2 year contract will be on the same account as the Apple iPhone, which means the Apple iPad mini will require a qualifying data plan. If you want to give as a gift, it will require to buy out the 2 year contract and remove the Apple iPad from your account. The end user you wish to gift the Apple iPad too, can start a new line of service with AT&T and choose a qualifying data plan. Thanks, Rocco, AT&T Community Specialist9 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can I use data off my iphone mini with cellular?without paying a monthly fee

- A: Greetings Joyatthebeach! Thanks for your interest in the Apple iPad mini 2 – it’s an amazing tablet and perfect size to take on the go! If you’d like to connect the iPad directly to our 4G LTE network, you would need a data plan. The great news is that we have a few different types to best suit your needs! If you have an existing postpaid account with us, you can simply add the iPad to it as another line, no problem! Here’s some information about our current AT&T Mobile Share Advantage plan: https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/data-plans.html Also, if you have a phone with us currently on the above plan, you can use it as a mobile hotspot to connect your iPad to via Wi-Fi at no extra cost (other than the data it uses)! Finally, if you don’t have an account with us and would like to set it up on a prepaid plan, you can absolutely do that too with our DataConnect Pass plan: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1048244 I hope this helps you out! Q: We got the lg gpad with data before, but now its broken. The question is do we still have to get a new data for this or can we just pay it monthly and use the data for the gpad?
9 years agoOriginally posted on Apple iPad mini 2 32GB - Space Gray

- A: Hello j1l2m4, If I’m reading your question correctly, you can use the Apple iPad mini 2 in place of the LG G Pad that is no longer working. It will require that the line you wish to use the Apple iPad on is updated to reflect the Apple iPad, since each operating system (iOS, Android, etc.) uses different access points to the network. Hope this helps! Rocco, AT&T Community Specialist9 years agoHelpful?

Q: Does iPad mini or iPad 2 have cable to connect to my sewing machine for downloaded patterns ?? I'm new at both!
10 years agoOriginally posted on Apple iPad mini 2 16GB - Silver
1 Answer
- A: Hello merrie serkel, Congratulations on your new sewing machine, it sounds fun! The iPad will include a universal USB cable with a detachable charging plug that should fit your sewing machine. To ensure you can load downloaded patterns, I would recommend reaching out to the sewing machine manufacturer and they should be able to verify compatibility with the iPad and your machine. I hope this helps and enjoy your day! Darren, AT&T Community Specialist10 years agoHelpful?

Q: Does this iPad mini have a Sim card
10 years agoOriginally posted on Apple iPad mini 2 16GB - Silver
1 Answer
- A: Hello Jayshawnl, Great question! All device’s sold by AT&T or an authorized retailer will come with and require an active SIM card to be used on the AT&T network. The Apple iPad mini 2 uses a nano SIM card to make the connection to the AT&T network. Hope this helps! Kevin, AT&T Community Specialist10 years agoHelpful?
