1. To lock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
   
2. To unlock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
   
3. To change security lock type, swipe down from Notification bar.
   
4. Tap the Settings icon.
   
5. In the Sound and display section, tap Lock screen.
   
6. Tap Screen lock.
   
7. Tap Desired screen lock type.
   Note: For this demonstration “Fingerprint” was selected.
   
8. Place finger on Home button, lift it off, then repeat. Move finger upwards/downwards slightly between attempts.
   
9. Place your finger on the Home button then lift it off again until the bar shows 100%.
   
10. Enter a backup password of at least 6 characters, including at least 1 letter and 1 number and tap CONTINUE.
    
11. Re-enter the backup password and tap OK.
    
12. Select display options for notifications on the lock screen, then tap DONE.
    
13. To lock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
    
14. Your device is now protected with a fingerprint screen-lock.
    
15. To unlock your device, place your finger on the Home button.
    
16. To register additional fingerprints, from the Personalization section, tap Fingerprint Scanner
    
17. Tap Fingerprint Manager.
    
18. Confirm your identity by entering your current password.
    
19. Tap plus icon to add a fingerprint and follow the process detailed in Steps 8 and 9.
    
20. To de-register a fingerprint tap the check box next to Desired fingerprint.
    
21. Tap the Delete Icon.
    
22. Tap OK.
    
23. To change your security lock type, from the Sound and display section tap Lock screen.
    
24. Tap Screen lock.
    
25. Confirm your identity by entering your backup password, then tap CONTINUE
    
26. Tap Desired screen lock type.
    Note: For this example Pattern was selected.
    
27. Draw desired pattern and tap CONTINUE.
    
28. Redraw the pattern again and tap CONFIRM.
    
29. Enter a backup PIN and tap CONTINUE.
    
30. Reenter the backup PIN and tap OK.
    
31. Select display options for notifications on the lock screen, then tap DONE.
    
32. To adjust the lock screen timeout setting, scroll to and tap Secured lock time.
    
33. Tap Desired amount of time.
