1. Smart Remote allows you to use your device as a remote for your TV. To use Smart Remote, from the home screen, tap the Apps icon.

  4. Select the brand of TV you own.

  5. Point the device at the TV and tap the Power button.

  6. Tap YES to confirm that your TV turned on.

  7. Enter your Zip code and tap DONE.

  8. Select the TV Service Provider.

  9. Tap PROCEED to add your Cable box to your Smart Remote.

  10. Point your phone at the TV and tap the Channel up button.

  11. Tap YES to confirm that your TV channel changed.

  12. Tap Desired age range and gender.

  13. Point the device at the TV and tap the desired show.

  15. To access Smart Remote settings, tap the Settings icon.

  16. Swipe down from the notification bar to access Smart Remote controls in the Quick Settings menu.
