Preview attachments in emails

With the preview attachments feature, you can view attachments in your emails without downloading them.

How to preview attachments

Here are a few tips for previewing attachments:

  • Preview a single attachment. Just open the message that contains the attachment, and select the attachment thumbnail at the bottom of the message. The attachment will open in a preview window on the right.
  • Preview multiple attachments. Open the message containing the attachments, then select View all above the attachment thumbnails. Scroll down to see more of the previewed attachments.
  • Close and expand previews. To close a preview and return to AT&T Email, select the X in the upper right of the preview window. To expand the preview, select the expand icon.
  • Zoom in and out. Just use the Zoom in Zoom in magnifying glass icon and Zoom out Zoom out magnifying glass icon icons.
  • Browse multiple document previews. Use the left and right arrows at the sides of the current document.
  • Save the document you’re previewing to your computer. Select Download, then Save to my computer, and select the location where you want to save the attachment. The steps will vary depending on your browser and browser settings.
  • Preview your attachments in full screen mode. Just select the full screen icon to preview your attachment in full screen mode. To exit full screen mode, press Esc on your keyboard.
