What’s happening

AT&T has filed an application with the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) requesting to modify its designation as a POLR in portions of its service territory. No changes are being made to AT&T Nevada customers' existing phone service as a result of this filing.

Why we’re doing it

We’re committed to bringing Nevadans the latest modern communications. Thanks to recent investment and additional investment from other providers, most consumers now have access to multiple choices for how they connect. As a result of this investment, AT&T is seeking to update its POLR service areas based on the availability of voice alternatives 

PUCN consumer sessions

The PUCN has scheduled consumer sessions in this docket to take place November 12 – 14, 2025:

  • Washoe County: November 12 at 10 a.m.
  • Pershing County: November 12 at 2 p.m.
  • Lander County: November 13 at 1 p.m.
  • White Pine County: November 13 at 2 p.m.
  • Nye County: November 14 at 10 a.m.
  • Mineral County: November 14 at 2 p.m.

The consumer sessions will be conducted electronically through Microsoft Teams and telephonically. Get details to participate in a specific session
