Message add-ons

You can get these text message add-ons for the AT&T PREPAID $0.25 per minute plan:
  • 200 messages - $4.99 per month
  • 1,000 messages - $9.99 per month
  • Unlimited messages - $19.99 per month
If you reach the message limit, additional messages are charged at:
  • $0.20 per text message sent or received
  • $0.25 per picture or video message sent or received

Add or renew message service

From AT&T PREPAID Account Summary page, select Add-Ons and follow the prompts to add or renew message service.

Learn how to automatically renew message service every month. If renewed before the service expires, unused messages roll over to the new expiration date.

Data add-ons

Need extra data? You can get these add-ons for your monthly PREPAID plans:
  • $40 monthly plan: $10 for 1GB or $40 for 3GB
  • $30 monthly plan: $10 for 1 GB
  • $65 and $75 monthly plans: $10 for 5GB with mobile hotspot usage


Get or change your add-ons

You can update optional services on a member line as part of an AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line account. Member lines are responsible for all service charges.

Use myAT&T

  1. Sign in to att.com/myprepaid.
  2. Select Add-Ons and then select the button next to the package you want.
  3. Choose Continue.
  4. Follow the prompts to add or change your add-ons.

Use our automated phone service

  1. Call 800.901.9878 (611 from your AT&T wireless phone).
  2. Follow the prompts to say Account changes.
  3. Enter your four-digit password, if prompted.
  4. Follow the prompts to say Buy add-ons.
  5. Select the type of add-ons you want to hear about.
  6. Choose the add-on you want.
  7. Say Add it (press 2).
  8. Follow the prompts to verify your change and confirm your service change.
