Manage AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line account

Learn how to invite others to your Multi-Line account, and how they accept or decline the invite. Plus, learn how to update your rate plans.

Invite members to your Multi-Line account

Account owners with a Multi-Line account can invite others to join. Here’s how:
  1. Sign in to att.com/myprepaid.
  2. Go to Invite Members, enter the prepaid number of the person you wish to invite, and select Invite. They must have AT&T PREPAID service with a basic phone or smartphone plan.
  3. Select any monthly rate plan that’s more than $30 a month for the member line.
  4. Select Send. We’ll send a text message invitation to their prepaid phone.
Good to know: Want to cancel an invitation? Choose Cancel next to the invite in the Pending Invitations panel. Then, select Confirm.

Return member to an individual line
From the Account summary page:
  1. Select the up or down arrow on the Member Lines section to view all lines on the account.
  2. Choose the member line you want to change back to an individual line by selecting the up or down arrows.
  3. Select Remove to proceed.
  4. Read the important info and then select Continue. The line change happens immediately.
We’ll send the member a text message letting them know of the change. Once the line’s removed, the account owner will lose any associated discounts for that line and won’t have to pay for it. The member will keep the same rate plan and expiration date they had with the Multi-Line plan, and they'll be responsible for paying the full, undiscounted monthly plan charge going forward.

Accept or decline invitation from the account owner

If you’re invited to become a member of an AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line account, we'll send you a text. Here’s how to accept or decline the invitation:
  1. Sign in to att.com/myprepaid.
  2. Select the invitation under Learn more about this invitation.
  3. Review the info about joining a Multi-Line account and how it affects your plan and payments.
  4. Follow the prompts to either accept or decline the invitation. We’ll let the person who invited you know what you decided.
We recommend waiting until the day before your plan’s due to renew before joining a Multi-Line account.

When you join a Multi-Line account, you consent to the disclosure of your AT&T PREPAID account info, including Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI), to the account owner of the Multi-Line Account you're joining. You have the right to restrict disclosure of your CPNI and other account information by declining to join the Multi-Line Account or by leaving the Multi-Line Account at any time.

Members can’t see AT&T PREPAID account info, including CPNI, for the account owner.

Change rate plans

Good to know: These steps are for AT&T PREPAID Multi-Line account owners only.
  1. Sign in to att.com/myprepaid.
  2. Select the up or down arrow on the Member Lines section to view all lines on the account.

  3. Choose the line you wish to change by selecting the up or down arrows.
  4. Select Change Rate Plan to proceed.
  5. Read the important info and then select Continue.

Note: The data allotment for the new plan will be pro-rated based on the number of days left in the Multi-Line term. We recommend changing rate plans on the day before the plan’s due to renew.
