ArticleDETAILED STEPS

Wi-Fi network name and password change

Your Wi-Fi® gateway comes with a default network name and password. Change your network info to make it easier to remember (but don’t use personal info like your name or address) and to keep unwanted users from accessing your network.

Change Wi-Fi info with Smart Home Manager
  • Go to the Smart Home Manager.
  • Select More. Smartphone users will find More in the main menu Menu icon.
  • Select Network.
  • Select the Wi-Fi network name or password to change.
  • Select the X at the right of the line to clear the existing name or password.
  • Enter a new Wi-Fi network name or password.
  • Select Save.

Once you’ve successfully changed your Wi-Fi name or password, make sure to reconnect your Wi-Fi devices using the updated network info.
