The Nest Doorbell is the battery-powered video doorbell that works with any home. See what’s happening at your door and answer it from anywhere. A taller field of view lets you see people from head to toe, or boxes on the ground. It has built-in intelligence that can tell the difference between people, packages, animals, and vehicles, and send alerts about what’s important to you.* You can even use pre-recorded responses, like “You can just leave it. Thanks!” With 3 hours of free event video history, you can go back and see what you missed. And because there are no wires, you can install it yourself.
*Some features, including mobile notifications, remote control, video streaming, and video recording, require working internet and Wi-Fi.

Fancy Doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great doorbell camera option for anyone looking to upgrade their doorbell. The quality is great, the image is great and the installation is very straightforward! I wish the battery would last longer, but it gives you enough of a heads up to do it while you're home.

Not so good in urban neighborhoods
I live in an urban neighborhood with detached one family homes on small lots, with houses set back about 50 feet from the sidewalk. Every time someone walks, runs, cycles or drives past, on either side of the street, the doorbell sends an alert. This is much too sensitive. In addition, the doorbell isn’t set up to send an audio tone to my phone, so if I’m in the back of the house, I won’t know if anyone is at the door until I happen to look at my phone. These include adjusting recording settings and enabling battery saver mode. If the battery issue persists and you have easy access to an outlet, plugging the camera into a power outlet with the included power adapter might be a better fit, which is also required to get 24/7 recording. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use, and we suggest using a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately). You can contact your retailer for product availability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome camera, I already have products that use Google home, so it fit right in. I love being able to see and talk to my customers when I am in the back and the only one here, it keeps prospective new customers from walking away without being able to speak to some one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up. Nice quality of video. We had other cameras set up around the house that constantly go off to nothing. This only goes off when there is actual movement which is nice. I like the phone notifications as well.
