Good idea, with potential for more!
Good way of seeing time, date and battery level, as well as limited notifications without opening the cover or picking up the phone. Protection for the front and back of the phone, and a far less slippery texture may prevent drops. The open window does mean some pocket debris and dust winds up on screen, but .. It would be great to see more options for what can be displayed when the cover is closed, e.g. weather, widgets, etc.
