I'm not a particularly tech savvy individual but I find this phone easy to use. The display is beautiful, the sound is good. I can clearly hear the person on the other end. The battery lasts all day for me. I don't talk or text heavily but I browse the web a lot. It only took a couple of hours to fully charge. I've only had this phone for about 4 days and I love it! I would recommend this phone to anyone like me who wants something nice but not overly fancy. The only downside is that I bought a Moshi Visor screen protector and a Ballistic Aspira Hybrid case. The visor will not work with the case. The case pushes the visor up so it bows in the middle. With these two it's one or the other, I like the case though. I recommend getting a real peel and stick screen protector.

Battery life is not that great
I had an iPhone 4 for about two years and it broke to the point where I couldn't even get it to turn on. So I went to the AT&T store and went with this phone. The design is pretty good, the camera is decent, the sound quality is nice as well, and it's super simple to use, but there are definitely some features I cannot stand. First of all, Facebook Home is not that great. Unless you live on it 24/7 and need to constantly know what is going on in all of your friends' lives and update all of them on what's going on in yours, it's just annoying. Next is the battery life. And this is a BIG issue for me. After getting it on Wednesday, I took it with me to school on Thursday and used it as I had used my iPhone (using apps to play games, browse the internet, text people, listen to music, etc.) and was severely disappointed in the fact that it lasted until right when I got to my car and was able to charge it, whereas with my iPhone, I was able to use it all day without much of a problem. All in all, it's a nice phone, but it doesn't do what I need it to do, and I will be going back to the AT&T store to exchange it for something else.

I especially like the appearance, the size (not too big), and the reliability (no crashes since I got it). Battery life is outstanding (typically two full days per charge for me).

I've previously had an Iphone 1 and a Samsung Infuse. The HTC First is far superior to either. Both my previous phones crashed occasionally for no apparent reason. This has never happened with the HTC. My car Bluetooth connection never worked properly with the Infuse, but with the HTC it worked immediately and has never had a single problem. Maybe this had something to do with the older Android OS on the Samsung, but in any case, it never happens with the HTC, which comes with Jelly Bean. And the battery life is a pleasant surprise. I have now formed the habit of going two full days on a single charge (though I do typically power it off on the nights when I'm not charging it). I guess some people will appreciate the face book interface that comes with the HTC, but I don't use it...it is simply a setting, which I turned off the first day I got the phone.
Prosease of use., reliability of latest android os (jelly bean), battery life., reasonable price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A great phone that shouldn't be judged on its Facebook Feature...

This phone has a soft nice grip yet with a good thinness and lightweight. The display is working at its finest and you get great memory space-16 GB for what it's cost for. Battery life on heavy use last around 14 hours to two days just standing by.*
Hardware is awesome, but the buzzkiller is Facebook home. Statuses from friends and picture slides set as your pre-unlock display can get really annoying after a period of time, also lacking privacy to others of your social life. This feature can be turned off fortunately and you won't have to switch between jellybean and facebook each time you use it.
It's a pretty decent phone. Don't listen what the market's been telling you!
