I love this phone, it has great features!

omg!! what a great phone. I got it in red and my brother in blue like 3 or 4 days ago and we haven't even put it down. The screen is amazingly clear and doesnt get scratched too easily (I've already dropped it :P). Anyways, the keyboard is great too. A little smaller than some other phones but its still great. The coolest thing is the camera. You get to add on little stamps, text, etc. The only negative things are that if you aren't good with electronics it can be a little confusing at first, and the battery life is pretty low. You have to charge it like every 3 days (My old phone i charged about once a week). I definetly recommend this phone.

Worst phone i have ever had!

I bought this phone in August and just 3 weeks later it began to freeze and go very slow. I hadn't dropped the phone or anything so i thought it was just a one time thing it stopped for about a month and then it started all over again but more things started going wrong like when i open and close the phone it just shuts off. I thought it was because i shut it to hard or something so i turned it back on and very carefully opened it and it turned off again. Every time i opened it and closed it the phone turned off. The only way for me to get it to stop is to take the battery out and let it sit for like 5 minutes. The battery life is horrible!! I have to charge the battery every single night if not i have no phone the next day. The touch screen is way to sensitive my phone is always some how calling my voice mail or the last person i texted. The only good thing about this phone is probably the keyboard and that its self isn't that great. My last phone was a blackberry and i would turn back to that in a heart beat! Do not get this phone! It is a waste of money!

Worst Touch Experience

I've had this phone over a year now and it's touch screen is very unresponsive and frustrating...I could never answer a call without having to touch "accept" at least 3 or 4 times. I recalibrated the screen often and it would get a little better for a while but then very unresponsive. Now, after 1 year and out of warranty, the screen won't respond at all to my touch...and I'm unable to do anything but answer the phone. Find another LG phone!

This is my first phone and i think its great!!! Its easy to navigate through, the conversation layout is really nice, and it has pretty good sound quality. Mine has with standed through getting dropped in water. It still works fine but some times freezes up. Over all this is a great phone and i would deff recommend it for a friend.

Best phone I've ever had
15 years ago
I love this phone! I've had it for almost two yrs now and it's still in great condition. It's sat in spilled water on the table and hasn't been messed up. I've dropped it numerous times getting out of my car and such, and even off bleachers onto a hard wood floor 7 feet below. Just a few scratches, nothing major.
My sister and dad have this phone too. Hers has been splashed with juice and dropped into a toilet. Still works! My dad's has gone thru the washing machine once, and we let it dry out for a day and it still works completely fine. And he goes thru phones like crazy (three in a two-month period one time) and he's had this one for over a year now. Three of my cousins have this phone too, they are 32, 15, and 12. Clearly this phone can be for any age.
So anyway. This phone is amazing if you love to text. The QWERTY keyboard has a backlight, and on the red phone some of the characters are pink, yay :) it's also got the option for T9 on the touch screen. Great for texting with one hand if you only have one free arm. Texts can also be grouped into conversations, I like them individual tho. My dad has bigger hands too and he loves the keyboard, so it's a good size.
The battery is pretty good. Even after texting a lot, I only charge it every other night which is awesome for me. The last phone I had, I charged it up to three times a day once it got up to over a year old, so every other day feels like a luxury now.
There's three options for a main screen on this phone too. My favorite is the "people page," where you can have three mini pages of your most used contacts so you can quickly go there to call or text them without having to go thru your contact list to find them. The actual main page where you see the time and date is where you can put a notepad, picture box, music player, other stuff.. very cool. Or you can put nothing at all there and keep it simple. The star screen is for shortcuts, so I have my calendar, picture album, alarm clock, and display shortcuts there.
There are hardly any negatives about this phone. When I first got it, I shut it too hard and it turned off, so I don't do that anymore haha. You can't have the alarm on & have your texts only vibrate both at once. Another thing, it's kind of annoying when it's locked. You can't see the bars you have or battery life. You also can't see the time when you have a text message on the screen, but it's really quick to unlock and press ignore so you can see the time. Mostly minor stuff.
But... even though the lock screen is annoying, it's so great because I never ever butt dial anyone! Never unlocks on its own. Great size for my jean pockets too.
I'm not really sure about the memory of this phone.. I got a memory card right away because I like taking pictures (with the memory card I have over 850 right now) so I don't know what it's like without one. But obviously the camera is awesome if I use it that much!
Just one more thing.. there's a "multitask" button between the talk and end buttons on the front of the phone. So if you are in a call and need to text you can press that and go to your inbox without ending the call, or if you need to go to your contact list to get a number you can go there, or if you have the camera open, or if you're in the middle of playing a game and want to view a text, it lists everything you have open so it's easy to do stuff at once and switch between everything you're doing.
People might complain about this phone freezing or turning off, but just generally try to be nice to it (don't slam it closed after texting, things like that) and it will last you forever! I don't even want my upgrade yet!!
All in all... THIS PHONE IS AMAZING!!!!!! Recommended to everyone!!

I never had a touch screen or text before! Once I have my glasses on its great! I love it & wonder what took me soooooooo long to get one!
