Force restart your phone
Learn how to force restart your device. Restarting your device is often the first step when troubleshooting a device issue.
1.
To restart your phone, press and hold the Power button until the 'Power off' prompt appears then release.
If your device is unresponsive, simultaneously press and hold the Power/Side button and Volume down button until the screen goes dark (approximately 15 seconds) then release.
2.
Tap Restart.
3.
Tap Restart again.
Allow up to 30 seconds for the reset to complete.
4.
You've completed the steps!
