Converting a physical SIM to an eSIM on the same device
Discover how to convert your physical SIM card to an eSIM on the same phone. Your physical SIM card is deactivated once the eSIM is activated and should be kept for at least 14 days before being discarded.
1.
From the Settings app, tap Connections.

Tap SIM manager.
3.
Select the sim you would like to convert.
4.
Tap Convert to eSIM.
5.
Tap Convert to eSIM again.
You may receive a notice from your carrier that an eSIM request has been made for your account. Your service may also become temporarily unavailable while your SIM card is converted to eSIM.
6.
You've completed the steps!
