Notifications & Alerts

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

 

• Quickly access and respond to notifications
• Access notification settings
• Turn on or off notification badges
• Turn lock screen notifications on or off
• Turn notifications on or off on a per-app basis
• Adjust notification sounds

 

 

Swipe down from the Notification bar. Notifications will be displayed. 

  

To respond to a notification, select the drop-down icon then select the desired response or action.

  

 

 

1. Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the  Settings icon.

2. Select Notifications, then edit settings as desired. 

  

 

From the Notifications screen, select Notifications on lock screen then select the desired option. 

  

From the Notifications screen, scroll to and select the Notification dot on app icon switch. 

  

From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Apps > desired App > Notifications > adjust notification settings as desired. 

Note: To enable or disable app icon badges, from the desired app, select Allow notification dot switch.

  

 

From the Settings screen, select Sound & vibration > Default notification sound > select desired sound, then select OK when finished.
