1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Tap Wi-Fi.
   
4. Tap the Wi-Fi switch to turn Wi-Fi on or off.
   
5. With Wi-Fi turned on, tap the desired Wi-Fi network.
   
6. If connecting to a secured network, indicated by a lock icon next to the signal, enter the required password and then tap Connect.
   
7. When connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi icon will display in the Notifications bar.
   
8. When Mobile hotspot is turned on, the Mobile hotspot icon will display in the Notifications bar.
   
9. Wi-Fi can also be turned on or off by swiping down from the Notifications bar, then tapping Wi-Fi.
