1. A master reset reverts the device back to factory settings. It will permanently erase all personal data, preferences, and settings.
   
2. From the home screen, tap Settings.
   
3. Tap the Next page icon.
   
4. Tap Factory Reset.
   
5. Tap Yes.
   
6. Tap Begin Reset.
