1. From any screen, press the Volume Keys to adjust the ringtone volume.
   
2. From the home screen, press the Right Soft Key.
   
3. Scroll to Settings, then press the Center Nav Key.
   
4. Scroll to Sound Profiles, then press the Center Nav Key.
   
5. Scroll to the desired option, then press the Center Nav Key.
   
6. When silent mode is on, the Silent icon will display in the notification bar.
