1. To turn the device on, press and hold the End/Power Key until the device powers on.
   
2. To turn the phone off, press and hold the End/Power Key until the device powers off.
   
3. If you are unable to turn the device on, try charging it using an available A/C power outlet or USB port. See 'Charging the Battery' for more specific instructions.
   
4. If you are unable to turn your phone off with the End/Power key, remove and re-insert the battery. See 'Soft Reset' for more specific instructions.
