Add your personal email account to sync email, contacts, calendar, and notes to your device.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
To set up your personal email account, from the home screen, tap Settings.
Scroll to then tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Tap Add Account.
Select your email provider. Note: If you don't see your email provider listed, tap Other > Add Mail Account. Follow the onscreen steps and provide the required information to configure your account. If you don't know your email settings contact your email or provider use the Mail Settings Lookup.
Enter your email address and password, and then tap Sign in. Note: To manually configure email settings (such as server settings and security type), from the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen, tap the desired account > tap the account name > tap Advanced.
Set the desired account sync options, and then tap Save. Note: To add additional email accounts, repeat the above steps.
If this is the only account you've set up on iPad, you will be directed to your inbox. If you have additional accounts set up, you will be returned to the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" screen. Note: To send email from this account by default, scroll down on this screen, then tap Default Account > tap the desired account name.
