- To turn on the battery saving features of your device, from the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.
Note: This device's talk time is up to 29 hours and the standby time is up to 20 days.
- Under the System section, tap Power saving.

- Tap Power saving mode.

- You can prolong battery life with modes that save power.  Tap the Power saving mode toggle to turn on Power saving mode.

- To view which applications are using the most battery power, from the Settings page scroll to and tap Battery under the System section. Scroll down to view battery usage.Â

- The following steps provide tips on conserving battery. Turn your screen brightness down or set it to auto.
Note: To access, swipe down from the top of the screen and drag the Brightness slider or tap the AUTO checkbox
- Set the screen timeout to a shorter duration
Note: To access, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon > Sound and display section > Display > Screen timeout > select the desired time.
- Turn Location Services & GPS off when not in use.
Note: To access, swipe down from the top of the screen and select Location.
- Turn off auto-update apps.
Note: To access, from the Play Store > Menu icon > Settings > Auto-update apps > Do not auto-update apps.
- Turn off auto-sync.
Note: To access, swipe down from the top of the screen with 2 fingers, then select Sync. Remember to turn Sync back on to allow new data to be synced (like email, and social media notifications).
- If you are traveling and do not have access to mobile or Wi-Fi networks, switch to Airplane mode.
Note: To turn airplane mode on or off, swipe down from the top of the screen, tap the expand icon, then tap Airplane mode.
- Turn off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, & NFC when not in use.
Note: To access, swipe down from the top of the screen with 2 fingers, then select Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, & NFC to turn off
- Do not use live wallpapers.
Note: To change your wallpaper, tap and hold an empty area on the home screen, then tap Wallpapers.
