1. After 5 unsuccessful attempts, tap OK.
   
2. Tap Forgot pattern?.
   Note: The device must have already been associated with a Google account for the Forgot Pattern option to display.
   
3. Enter the account information, then tap Sign in.
   
4. After unlocking the device, tap to select the desired new security setting.
