1. From the home screen, press the Menu key.
   
2. Tap System settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Security.
   
4. Tap Screen lock.
   
5. Tap Pattern.
   
6. Draw the desired pattern, then tap Continue.
   
7. Redraw the desired pattern, then tap Confirm.
   
8. To unlock the device, draw the selected pattern.
