1. From the home screen, press the Menu key.
   
2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Date & time.
   
4. Uncheck Automatic date & time to toggle off the network provided time.
   
5. Tap Set date.
   
6. Touch and drag the date rollers to set the date.
   
7. Tap Done.
   
8. Tap Set time.
   
9. Touch and drag the time rollers to set the time.
   
10. Tap Done.
