1. From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
   
2. Tap System settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Security.
   
4. Tap Screen lock.
   
5. Tap Pattern.
   
6. Touch and drag the desired unlock pattern over the pattern canvas.
   
7. Tap Continue.
   
8. Re-draw the pattern by touching and dragging on the pattern canvas.
   
9. Tap Confirm.
