1. To access all location settings, swipe down from the Notifications bar.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to then tap Location services.
   
4. Tap the desired options to turn GPS and cellular location services on or off. When on, the location options are displayed with a checkmark.
   
5. GPS can be enabled or disabled from the notifications screen, as well.
   Note: To optimize battery life, turn GPS off when not in use.
   
6. When location services are enabled, an icon will appear in the status bar.
