1. Registering a Google account allows you to download and purchase content in the Google Play Store, access email through the Gmail application, receive personalized Google Search results, and have your account automatically logged in for all other Google-based services on your device.
   
2. From the home screen, tap Apps.
   
3. Swipe to, then tap Settings.
   
4. Scroll to "Accounts", then tap Add account.
   
5. Tap Google.
   
6. Tap Existing.
   
7. Enter your account information, then tap the Right arrow.
   
8. Tap OK.
   Note: If join Google+ is displayed, tap Not now. To set up Google+ later, tap Apps > Google+.
   
9. Tap the desired options, then tap the Right arrow.
   
10. Your account is now set up and ready for use.
