1. Use your AT&T device as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.
   Note: Eligible data plan required, learn more.
   
2. From the home screen, swipe down from the status bar.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. Tap Network and Connections.
   
5. Tap Mobile Hotspot.
   
6. Tap Next.
   
7. Tap Next.
   
8. Tap Next.
   
9. Tap Next.
   
10. Tap Next.
    
11. Enter the desired password, then tap Next.
    
12. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to toggle on/off.
    
13. To configure Mobile Hotspot settings, tap Configure.
    
14. Adjust settings as desired, then tap Save.
    
15. When the mobile hotspot is active, the Mobile Hotspot icon will display in the status bar.
