1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the status bar.
   
2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Security and Privacy.
   
4. Tap Device Password.
   
5. Tap the Device Password switch.
   
6. Enter and re-enter the desired password.
   Note: The password must be at least 4 characters.
   
7. Tap OK.
