1. From the home screen, press the Menu key.
   
2. Tap Lock screen settings.
   
3. Tap Select screen lock.
   
4. Tap the desired option.
   Note: For this demonstration, tap 'Pattern'.
   
5. Tap Next.
   
6. Draw the desired unlock pattern.
   
7. Tap Continue.
   
8. Re-draw the chosen pattern to confirm.
   
9. Tap Confirm.
   
10. Tap Next.
    
11. Enter the desired backup PIN.
    
12. Tap Next.
    
13. Re-enter the chosen PIN to confirm.
    
14. Tap Done.
    
15. To unlock the device, draw the chosen unlock pattern.
    
16. To change the lock screen security type, from the Lock screen settings page, tap Select screen lock.
    
17. Draw the current unlock pattern.
    
18. Tap the desired screen lock type, then follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.
