1. From the home screen, press and hold the Menu key to access search.
   
2. Tap Next, if prompted.
   
3. Tap Next.
   
4. Tap Next.
   
5. Tap the desired option to set up Google Now.

6. To perform a search, enter the desired search term, then tap the Search icon.
   
7. To perform a voice search, tap the Voice icon.
   
8. Speak the desired search term, then tap the Voice icon.
   
9. Tap the X icon to clear the search bar.
   
10. To access search settings, press the Menu key.
    
11. Tap Settings.
    
12. Edit search settings as desired.
