1. From the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
2. Select Messaging, then press the AT&T key.
   
3. Scroll to Settings, then press the AT&T key.
   
4. Edit messaging settings as desired.
   
5. To change an alert, from the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
6. Select Settings, then press the AT&T key.
   
7. Select Profiles, then press the AT&T key.
   
8. Select the desired profile, then press the Left Soft key.
   
9. Scroll to Message sound, then press the AT&T key.
   
10. Navigate to the desired alert location.
    
11. Scroll to the desired tone, then press the AT&T key.
    
12. Press the Left Soft key to save.
