1. From the home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Notification menu.
   
2. Tap Auto to enable auto brightness.
   
3. Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
   
4. Avoid using live wallpapers.
   
5. Tap the Power saving mode and Ultra power saving mode switch to turn on.
   
6. Ensure that auto-update is disabled.
   
7. Ensure that auto-sync is not enabled for any synced accounts.
   
8. Turn Mobile data off when not in use.
   
9. To view battery usage, under the 'General' tab in Settings, tap Battery.
