1. From the home screen, tap Settings.
   
2. Scroll to, then tap Lock screen.
   
3. Tap Screen lock.
   
4. Tap the desired security option.
   Note: This tutorial selects Pattern.
   
5. Draw the desired pattern, then tap Continue.
   
6. Re-draw the pattern, then tap Confirm.
   
7. Enter a backup PIN, then tap Continue.
   
8. Re-enter the backup PIN, then tap OK.
   
9. To reset the screen lock, tap Screen lock, then follow the on-screen prompts to set a new screen lock.
