1. From the home screen, tap Messaging.
   
2. Press the Menu key.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. To change the display style, scroll to "Display", and adjust the desired settings.
   
5. To enable and disable Push messages, scroll to "Push message settings" and tap the Push messages checkbox
   
6. To change the notification ringtone, scroll to "Notification settings", then tap Select ringtone.
   
7. Tap the desired ringtone, then tap OK.
   
8. To restore default settings, press the Menu key.
   
9. Tap Restore default settings.
   
10. Tap OK.
