1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the display to access Quick Settings.
   
2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap About.
   
4. Tap the Category drop-down.
   
5. Tap OS.
   
6. The Software Release and OS Version will be displayed.
   
7. To check for software updates, return to the 'System Settings' screen, then tap Software Updates.
   
8. Tap Check for Updates, then follow on-screen prompts to install any available updates.
