1. From the clock screen, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
   
2. Scroll to, then tap Settings.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap Messages.
   
4. Tap Outgoing number.
   
5. Tap to select which device's phone number to use for outgoing messages from your Gear when it is connected to your mobile device.
   
6. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to return to the previous screen.
   
7. Tap Emergency alerts.
   
8. Tap Alert types.
   
9. Tap the desired emergency alerts to display.
   
10. Swipe down from the top edge of the screen to return to the previous screen.
    
11. Tap Alert reminder.
    
12. Tap the desired reminder duration.
