1. From the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Notification menu.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Under System, scroll to, then tap About device.
   
4. Scroll to Android version.
   
5. To check for updates, from the Settings screen, tap AT&T Software Update.
   
6. Tap Check for Updates.
   
7. If an update is available, follow the prompts to update the software.
