1. Adjust the screen brightness to the lowest setting.

2. Set the Sleep timer to a shorter duration.
   Note: Home screen > Notification menu > Settings > Device > Display > Sleep
   
3. Turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and File Share when not in use.
   Note: Home screen > Notification menu > Settings
   
4. Turn off Location services.
   Note: Home screen > Notification menu > Settings > System > Location
   
5. Turn off Auto-update apps.
   Note: Home screen > Play Store > Play Store Menu > SETTINGS > Auto-update apps
   
6. Turn off Auto-sync.
   Note: Home screen > Notification menu > Settings > Network > Data Usage > Menu icon
   
7. Turn on Airplane mode when traveling without access to mobile or Wi-Fi networks.
