1. After drawing the incorrect unlock pattern five times, pattern lock reset options will appear. Tap OK to proceed.
   
2. Tap 'Forgot pattern?'.
   
3. Enter the current backup PIN, then tap OK.
   
4. To access the device using your Google account information, enter the desired Gmail address and password, then tap Sign in.
   Note: The device must already be associated with a Google account for this option to display.
   
5. The lock screen has been reset. Tap the desired option then follow on-screen prompts to set up a new screen lock.
