1. Use your AT&T device as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.
   Note: Eligible data plan required, learn more.
   
2. From the home screen, press the Options key.
   
3. Select System settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
4. Select More, then press the Center Nav key.
   
5. Select Tethering & portable hotspot, then press the Center Nav key.
   
6. Select Portable Wi-Fi hotspot, then press the Center Nav key.
   
7. Select Ok, then press the Center Nav key.
   
8. When Mobile Hotspot is active, the Hotspot icon will display in the Notifications bar.
   
9. To configure the Hotspot, select Set up Wi-Fi hotspot, then press the Center Nav key.
   
10. Use the keypad to enter the desired network name.
    
11. To change the network security type, select the Security drop-down field, then press the Center Nav key.
    
12. Select the desired option, then press the Center Nav key.
    
13. Select the Password field, then use the keypad to enter the desired network password.
    
14. To view the passcode, select Show password, then press the Center Nav key.
    
15. Select Save, then press the Center Nav key.
    
16. To view connected devices, select Connected Wi-Fi hotspot Clients, then press the Center Nav key.
