1. From the home screen, press the Options key.
   
2. Select System settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
3. Select About phone, then press the Center Nav key.
   
4. The device software version will be displayed.
   
5. To check for software updates, select System updates, then press the Center Nav key.
   
6. Select Check for Updates, then press the Center Nav key and follow on-screen prompts.
